Atty. Marcus Aurellius M. Bañares brings a rare combination of legal and technical expertise to the practice of property law. Before pursuing law, he earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology and passed the Engineering Board Examinations in 2003. He subsequently served in the Planning Department of the Parañaque City Government, where he gained firsthand experience in land use, urban planning, and property administration.

Driven by a deeper commitment to public service, Atty. Bañares pursued law while continuing to work as an engineer — passing the Philippine Bar Examinations in 2010 after completing his legal studies at Arellano University School of Law. He went on to serve as a Public Attorney for seven years, representing clients across a wide range of civil and criminal matters before the courts.

Today, Atty. Bañares focuses his practice on land title and property law — handling title disputes, lost title proceedings, actions involving possession of property, and other real estate legal concerns. His engineering background gives him a distinct advantage in understanding technical property descriptions, survey plans, and land documentation that are central to property litigation and registration.
